Trauma to the spine can cause injuries ranging from small fractures that heal within a few weeks to severe dislocation injuries causing severe neurological symptoms requiring emergency surgery. For patients involved in spinal trauma, Dr. Hatef is available at Mt. Carmel East, the trauma center for the Mt. Carmel system.
