Caring for the Whole Person
When you have a condition affecting your brain, spine, or nerves, you need a doctor who will not only provide excellent surgical care, but also take into account your personal needs. You need a physician who will listen to your story and help guide you through frightening times with compassion.
Neurosurgical Expertise
Dr. Hatef is dedicated to treating the individual patient, not simply the X-ray or MRI. He has experience in all facets of neurological surgery with a special interest in spinal and vascular conditions. He treats adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with all varieties of cranial, spinal, and peripheral nervous conditions.
Minimally Invasive and Arthroplasty Surgery
Dr. Hatef is committed to using the least invasive option available. Many cranial problems can be treated with shorter incisions and smaller craniotomies. Minimal hair is removed and incisions are closed with absorbable sutures instead of traditional staples.
Dr. Hatef believes minimally invasive spine (MIS) techniques have revolutionized spine surgery. Using MIS, there are smaller incisions, less muscle injury, and a faster rehabilitation. Many spinal surgeries can be performed as same-day, outpatient surgeries if patients prefer a faster return to home. He is also excited to preserve natural motion whenever possible using the latest arthroplasty technology. Please visit our arthroplasty page for more information about this option.
